A new chapter is waiting.
Let's turn the page.
These words go hand in hand with "protecting the people" but they are much more than just a campaign slogan. For Lois Bower Bjornson, they are her lived experience. It is the personal and professional challenges she accepts every day—and the foundation of her plans to best represent us in Harrisburg.
For too long, the 50th District has been stagnant and underrepresented. It’s time to prioritize the People of the 50th District!
If you’re ready to revitalize this area, I humbly ask for your support and encourage you to contact our campaign. Together, we can make a difference!

I’ll support existing energy jobs, attract clean energy industries, and support small businesses to create good-paying jobs within our communities. This involves investing in infrastructure, local entrepreneurs, and expanding workforce training in skilled trades, manufacturing, energy, and emerging technologies.
Economic Growth and Good Jobs
Infrastructure and Community Investment

Safe roads, reliable, clean water systems, and fast, affordable broadband are essential for economic growth and daily life. I will prioritize state investment to repair aging infrastructure and expand high-speed internet access to every community.
Supporting Workers and Retirees

Working families built this district. I will stand with organized labor, protect pensions, and ensure workers have safe conditions and fair wages. Our retirees deserve stability and respect after a lifetime of work.
Transparent and Accountable Government

People are tired of politics that ignores everyday concerns. I will listen to residents, hold open town halls, and make decisions based on what is best for the district—not special interests.
Meet Lois
Hi! I'm Lois Bower Bjornson, a wife and mother of four from Fredericktown, PA. I currently serve as a Southwestern Pennsylvania Field Organizer with the Clean Air Council and operate two microbusinesses.
I’m running because our communities deserve practical leadership that focuses on results, not partisan politics. Our region has a proud history built on hard work, strong unions, and close-knit neighborhoods. I work to protect that legacy while building a stronger future for working families.
